Outline Over 170 years ago, on March 8th, Commodore Perry landed in Yokohama. You can experience what it was like for Perry at that time by cruising around Yokohama Port on the Shirahama Maru, which is almost the same size as the USS Susquehanna that he was on when he arrived. You will pass by the First and Second Sea Forts, which prevented enemy ships from entering Tokyo Bay during the war, and enter Yokohama Port under the Bay Bridge. You can see Yokohama Port from the sea, a tourist destination that attracts attention from all over the world, including Minato Mirai, Yamashita Park, Osanbashi Pier, and the Red Brick Warehouse, which continue to evolve even today. You can also enjoy mini-concerts and hula dance shows on board.
